San Marino Network (SMnet)
The San Marino Network (SMnet) represents a collaborative
partnership among the City of San Marino, the San Marino Unified School
District, and the Huntington Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens.
Southwestern Academy and Sts. Felicitas and Perpetua School are Associate
members.
Through SMnet high-speed Internet access is available to each of the entities.
Collaborative projects are encouraged, and the volunteer organization is
dedicated to increasing community awareness and developing worthwhile uses
of the electronic resources available to our citizens. An example of working
together between our students and the Huntington Library may be found by

Much of the network installation was completed by community volunteers in
1995 and 1996. Volunteer committees remain active and meet regularly. Interested
citizens are encouraged to participate on the committees and to attend quarterly
General Meetings.
SMnet envisions the creation of strong community information resources and
development of an extensive and useful "electronic community."
Meeting Times: 3:30 PM quarterly or as otherwise scheduled. Please see the Community Calendar for updates.
