On Sunday, November 7, 2010 the San Marino City Club held their Annual Tennis Tournament at Lacy Park. Eight strong competitors vied in the "A" Division, while twelve were competing for the "B" Division championship. The Tournament was contested in a round robin style of play, seven rounds of six games were played; no-add scoring was used to expedite play.

Dan Takeyama prevailed in the "A" division, with runner-up honors going to Pete Lahey, the 2009 Champion. Bill Crary emerged victorious in the "B" Division followed by Paul Wong; all from San Marino.

Other players in the "A" division were Mustapha Baha, Herman Cheng, Roger Johnston, John Sturgeon, Ray Wells and Chris Wilker. "B" Division players were Dan Biles, Mike Bottitta, Bill Francis, Steve Goei, Arry Pastis, Bill Payne, Dick Pearson and David Stuteville. Co-chairs for the event were Tom Billings and John Lucas both of whom also played in the "B" Division.

The City Club will donate the net profit from this weekend’s festivities to San Marino High School tennis.

This year's tennis tournament will be held on Sunday, November 6th at the Lacy Park courts.
